About Amy Anderson, Founder & Principal

Amy Anderson founded Fleurish Partners from a deep commitment to improving her community and the world. After 20 years in public relations and marketing communications for companies like Starbucks Coffee Company and Seattle Children’s Hospital, she understands the power of words, images and color to inspire and compel action. Helping others make a positive contribution, was and remains core to who she is and how she works with clients.

Amy is a respected strategist and partner, who loves building strong relationships and helping her clients thrive. She brings positive energy, passion and innovative ideas to every client interaction and project. Her broad experience spans many industries and includes non-profit, high-tech and retail clients.  A more expansive list of clients can be found here.

Amy has a specialty in color and the effects of color on consumers. Her love affair with color led her to study with the world’s foremost authority on color, Leatrice Eiseman, and she now counts her as one of her clients. Amy believes that color – and the meanings behind colors – is a powerful marketing tool, because color plays a significant role in consumer decision making.

As part of her long-standing commitment to the health and well-being of the community, Amy has held volunteer leadership roles with for Seattle Children’s Hospital, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and Lifelong AIDS Alliance. She is a 2003 graduate of Leadership Tomorrow and a member of the Women’s Business Exchange.

A native of Olympia, Washington, and a graduate of the University of Washington, Amy lives in Seattle with her husband, daughter and adorable Maltipoo puppy. She enjoys long walks, good books, traveling, blogging and connecting with other creative spirits.
